Cooker Hoods, also known as Extractor Fans, are appliances that use fans to hoover up the smoke, fumes and dirty air coming from your Hob or Cooker. Why do I need a Ducting Kit? Once an Extractor Fan has sucked up air from your Hob or Cooker, you can normally choose to Vent this air outside or force the air through Carbon filters back into your kitchen - known as Recirculating. If you want to Vent or Duct the air outside, one end of the Ducting kit connects to the outlet on the Extractor Fan and the other attaches to a vent that is placed over the hole in your wall.
