The Aquaforce 6000 Pond Pump from Hozelock sets unprecedented performance and efficiency benchmarks in flow rates and head heights with a maximum flow rate of 6000 litres per hour and max lift of 3.5 metres. The Aquaforce 6000 has the capacity to handle solids up to 10mm and runs on only 65w making it extremely energy efficient. Aquaforce pumps can be used flat or on their side and the case has an integral carrying handle which makes it easy to lift in and out of the pond for maintenance. Incorporated into the whole range is the innovative removable Wildlife Protection System which reduces the pumps cage openings down to 2mm, to prevent wildlife such as tadpoles, newts and small fish getting into the cage. The larger models in the Aquaforce range (6000, 8000, 12000 and 15000) can be used in conjunction with a satellite strainer, allowing water to be drawn into the pump from two separate areas of the pond, improving pond circulation. Alternatively, a pond surface skimmer can be used in place of the satellite strainer, removing floating leaves and other surface debris to improve pond aesthetics.
