Overview
The Trend T12EK Router is a high-performance plunge router for professional woodworkers. Methodically designed and engineered, it comes with many advanced safety features. The 2,300W motor delivers consistently high power, torque and speed, and features soft-start to prevent kick-back. The 80mm plunge depth opens up many opportunities for deep cutting applications. Phosphor-bronze bushes, ensure a smooth plunge action. The auto-lock plunge lever allows you to easily and safely operate the plunge without releasing the handles. The ergonomic designed handles support a natural wrist position, reduce strain, and increase control. The seven-stage variable speed control from 9,000 to 22,000rpm, allows you to match the cutter diameter to the material for perfect results. For your essential safety the automatic power shut-off prevents the router from accidental start-up if the trigger lock-on switch is engaged, and the power supply is lost and restored or interrupted. Micro adjustable height and side fence come as standard, along with a spindle lock, which simplifies cutter changes. Twin LEDs illuminate the area around the cutter improving safety and accuracy in low-light situations, or the use of a jig is casting shadows. The T12EK base configuration includes a standardised fixing pattern of holes that allow the T12EK to be attached to a range of compatible, jigs and accessories. A precision centring system uses a unique guide bush centring pin and adaptor plate to ensure perfect concentricity between cutter and guide bush for pinpoint accuracy with routing jigs. The top-mount cyclone extraction features an enhanced dust adapter, which efficiently clears the waste. Its positioning ensures greater visibility and helps prevent extraction hoses from ‘snagging’. Supplied with: side fence, 30mm guide bush, guide bush adaptor plate, 1/2" collet, centring pin, top-mount extractor adaptor, Cyclone dust adapter and storage case. Note: This router is fitted with an Anti Restart Safety Switch and is incompatible with a seperate external NVR switch.
