Beatles fans will love the Hornby Eurostar 'Yellow Submarine' Train Set. Eurostar's Class 373 train get a stunning Beatles makeover! This is a recreation of the train produced in September 1999 to celebrate the reissue of the 1968 animated movie and its soundtrack album, originally released in 1969. Sets 3005/3006 were transformed with a colourful vinyl wrap across 18 passenger cars that recreated scenes from film as part of the 1999 promotion campaign, with the then surviving Beatles; Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison all involved. At the time, the film had been unavailable for over a decade and the relaunched version included scenes that were edited out of the original, while the album featured new mixes of songs, such as With A Little Help From My Friends and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds - the first time a Beatles album had ever been remixed. The high-speed train retained the graphics for the 3 months as it operated between London, Paris and Brussels via the Channel Tunnel.
