Two Swallows was created by Thomas Hurst as a tribute to his famous ancestor Captain Matthew Webb, who died in 1883 while traversing the whirlpool rapids at Niagara Falls. Two Swallows Orange and Ginger rum is produced by the legendary Diamond Distillery in Guyana and delivers light orange and vanilla notes combined with a big blast of ginger on the finish. Two swallows is a reference to a traditional sailor’s tattoo, alluding to the legend that if a sailor drowns then the birds in the tattoo will carry their soul to heaven.
