Manufactured from polished tool steel. A large headed nut and screw assembly provides a firm and rigid friction joint, with no play. The sizes listed are affective leg length which is measured from the joint assembly. Has a locating spur on the straight leg. Firm Joint Caliper capacities are generally 1/3 greater the the effective leg length.
