The JBL SymecPad high quality fleece pads come supplied as a pack of 6 and provide ultra fine mechanical filtration in the CristalProfi e range of external filters. The pads can be inserted into any JBL CristalProfi filter basket instead of a filter sponge to ensure crystal-clear water. We strongly recommend using the SymecPad during the last stage of filtration, e.g. as a replacement for the fine-pored filter foam pad in the lower part of the combi filter basket II. The SymecPads can be rinsed and reused ONCE when heavily soiled. After which they should definitely be replaced and NOT rinsed and reused again. Unlike filter sponges or filter material made of ceramic or sintered glass, it is not possible to wash contaminants out of filter wool or filter fleece because they have too fine a structure.
