It is impossible to talk about Giuseppe Quintarelli without superlatives. The name itself stands for so much: the family, the wines, a style, a tradition, a way of doing things. After Giuseppe's death, the company has recently been led by his daughter Florence, his son-in-law Giampaolo and his grandsons Francesco and Lorenzo. The Amarone is aged in oak barrels for no less than seven years. Everything happens with the highest degree of perfection. Everything of tradition, love, heart and soul can be found in this great wine, which may be called one of the best in the world. The vineyards are located in the hills east of Montebaldo, near Lake Garda, near Negrar. The wines of Quintarelli are a stamp of authenticity and the ultimate perfection to achieve the best quality. The Primofiore has a crushing nose with berries, cherries, herbs with a very inviting nose. Soft as silky on the palate, this wine is hypnotic complex, with nuances of cherries, olives, herbs and oak. Full and voluptuous. The Primofiore is a blend of equal parts Corvina, Corvinone, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, all of which mature while being stored in wooden crates. Primofiore or first flowering is the only red wine that does not dry the grapes. The ripasso technique is used.
